Check out an example of my UX process
Colleagues and I came up with idea for an app that would help food critics and bloggers organize their photos, notes and directions while documenting meals at various restaurants.
We came up with Bob, a food critic and ex chef who needs a better way to keep all his materials organized.
Generated several flow maps showing the process of taking a photo and adding written and verbal annotation, taking and editing a photo, getting to the folder section as well other tasks.
Produced sketches of the various screens including map screen, photo editing screen, file organization screen and audio and text annotation screens.
Created wireframes and then made prototypes. Tested them on users. User feedback included changing file screen icon to folder icon and adding the option of allowing user to upload images directly to social media sites. Incorporated new user information into another round of wireframes and prototypes.
Made comps showing what the actual app screens would look like and created simple prototype using InVision.
